Venezianico

Venezianico was founded in Venice in 2017 by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli, who developed the idea while studying at Ca' Foscari University. The brand initially launched under the name Meccaniche Veneziane and built its early following through a Kickstarter campaign for its flagship diver watch, the Nereide, which raised over $800,000. The company adopted the Venezianico name in 2022. The Nereide takes its name from an Italian submarine built in the Venice shipyards and launched in 1913. Across its collections, Venezianico ties its design language explicitly to Venetian references: Murano glass, Venetian bronze-casting traditions, and the city's maritime and shipbuilding history.
