What Walkerswood Caribbean Foods is known for
Walkerswood grew out of a 1940s farming cooperative in the St. Ann hills and was formally registered as a jerk-seasoning maker in 1978 to keep the rural community working year-round. The company still buys scotch bonnet, pimento, and scallion from more than 1,000 small farmers across the island for its jerk marinades and seasonings.
