What Aedes de Venustas is known for
Founded by Karl Bradl and Robert Gerstner in New York’s West Village in 1995, Aedes was created as a perfumery dedicated to exclusive, artisanal scents and became an early destination for hard-to-find niche fragrance. Since 2018 it has operated at 16A Orchard Street on the Lower East Side, carrying perfume, incense, candles, home fragrance and body products.
