What Jaiio is known for

Jaiio is a Paris-based resale platform for authenticated pre-owned designer fashion. Its Galeries Lafayette corners in Haussmann and Toulouse sell curated luxury pieces alongside the brand's own boutique near Gare du Nord.

Jaiio began in 2020, when childhood friends Aurélie Baranes and Joy Ignaczak set out to simplify the secondhand fashion market for sellers who didn't want to photograph, price, and ship their own wardrobes. The premise: hand over a bag of designer clothing, and Jaiio's team handles authentication, photography, listing, and sale. Luxury pieces are checked using the Entrupy authentication system before they're priced at 30 to 80 percent below retail.

The company now runs its operation from a 530-square-metre headquarters near Paris's Gare du Nord, where a staff of thirty photographs several hundred items a day and stores roughly 25,000 pieces awaiting sale. Beyond the e-commerce site, Jaiio holds near-daily live shopping sessions on the Whatnot app, moving pieces from Chloé and Saint Laurent that have lingered online, and dedicates some streams to charity sales.

For shoppers who prefer to browse in person, Jaiio operates two corners inside Galeries Lafayette — a 100-square-metre space in the Haussmann flagship split between premium clothing and accessories, and a smaller 37-square-metre corner in Toulouse. In 2025 the platform reported over 100,000 items resold and more than €3.5 million in sales, with consignors collectively earning over €1.5 million from their own wardrobes.
