What Keemun (Qihong Group) is known for
The brand dates Keemun black tea to 1875, when Hu Yuanlong adapted southern red-tea methods to Qimen County's leaf and created the smoky, orchid-scented style that became known abroad as the 'queen of black teas'. The site represents the present-day successor to that Qing-dynasty workshop, still processing Qihong-branded black tea from the same Anhui county.
