Made In Ipoh occupies Arlene House, the 1905 residence commissioned by tin-mining Kapitan Chung Thye Phin, after an eight-year conservation project completed in 2020. Its gallery shop sells kebaya, batik and building-motif souvenirs alongside exhibits on the city's tin-mining history.
