Norse Store began in Copenhagen in 2004 as a retail shop and art gallery founded by Tobias Sloth, Anton Juul and Mikkel Gronnebaek. Their in-house menswear label, Norse Projects, launched from the same address in 2009, blending streetwear, classical workwear and technical materials into understated Scandinavian menswear. As Norse Projects grew into its own brand with a dedicated flagship, the original multi-brand retail operation was moved next door and kept the name Norse Store, stocking a wide range of third-party labels - including Red Wing, Levi's Vintage Clothing, Yuketen, Trickers, Woolrich Woolen Mills and Fjallraven - alongside Norse Projects' own pieces.
