What Pasticceria Piaggio is known for
Run by the Gronchi family since 1927, this pastry shop on Via Roma has been the official maker of the Torta dei Fieschi since 1949, baking the dessert each year for the medieval Fieschi reenactment in Piazza dei Fieschi on August 14th. Its signature Carugetti pair hazelnut meringue with dark chocolate alongside a case of traditional Ligurian sweets and brioche.
