What Tara Jarmon is known for
Paris label founded by Canadian-born designer Tara Jarmon with David Jarmon, opening its first boutique near the Canal Saint-Martin. Known for tailored, color-driven dresses, it now spans more than 20 freestanding boutiques plus store-in-store locations across Europe and Asia.
Tara Jarmon, born in Canada and raised partly in Newport Beach, California, moved to Paris and graduated from the American University of Paris before founding her eponymous label with David Jarmon. The label is positioned in the affordable-luxury segment and built its identity on tailored, color-forward dresses. The brand has grown to more than 20 freestanding boutiques plus around 80 store-in-store locations across Europe and Asia. In 2006, Tara Jarmon collaborated with Target's Go International line. In 2026, per WWD, creative direction passed from Tara Jarmon to designer Colombe Campana.
