What Miyagi Kashiten is known for
Marking its 100th anniversary in 2023, this confectioner created the original salt chinsuko, working Ishigaki's natural sea salt into the shortbread-like Okinawan cookie, and now makes more than thirty types of sweets from Yaeyama ingredients. Its shop sits in Ishigaki City, with a second counter inside the domestic terminal of Ishigaki Airport.
