What Omah Kopi is known for
Omah Kopi sources from a Banyuwangi farming village where 330 of its 550 hectares grow coffee, selling a Grade-A export Kopi Osing blend. Its single-origin Arabica is split by elevation, up to 1,700 meters.
Omah Kopi operates out of Dusun Krajan in Desa Telemung, a Banyuwangi village where coffee isn't a side crop: roughly 330 of the village's 550 hectares are planted in coffee, and most residents work in cultivation, making the "rumah para petani kopi" (house of coffee farmers) name literal rather than a marketing flourish. The flagship product is the Kopi House Blend Osing Banyuwangi, certified Grade A export quality and sold in both 1kg and 100g packs, built around the local Osing ethnic tradition rather than a generic regional blend. Beyond the house blend, Omah Kopi sells single-origin lots split by elevation: an Arabica Ijen grown at 1,200 meters above sea level and an Arabica Specialty grown higher still, at 1,700 meters, a distinction that lets buyers choose a specific altitude profile rather than a single undifferentiated "highland Arabica" label. The range also covers Robusta, Excelsa and wild Luwak coffee sourced from the same growing region. For a shop this size, naming an export-grade certification, a specific village hectare count and exact growing elevations gives Omah Kopi a more concrete sourcing story than most single-village coffee houses offer.
