Nishimura Orimono is a working Hakata-ori weaver; Gihei Nishimura opened the weaving factory in 1861 after studying under the Shirouzu family (one of the Edo twelve licensed houses); ORIBA at the factory entrance sells obi and accessories.
Best for Nishimura Orimono is the oldest Hakata-ori weaver still operating.
